February Catholic Prayer Breakfast Speaker
This month's Catholic Prayer Breakfast at the Morningstar Renewal Center in Pinecrest was attended by many Men's Club members and heard from Father Dennis Lamey, Pastor of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. Father Lamey spoke on his "later-in-life" journey to the priesthood. He was also our guest at the Men's Club February Cigar Night Dinner Meeting and offered the opening prayer and Grace. He is the brother of Past President Dan Lamey.
The Prayer Breakfast, held every month on the second Tuesday, attracts participants from parishes throughout our area and is organized by SJN Men's Club Member Gerry Pecknold. This month it was moderated by fellow Men's Club member and SJN Parish Organist Bill Van der Wyden. The next Prayer Breakfast will be held on Tuesday, March 12th at 7:15 AM. The cost is $7.00.

Catholic Prayer Breakfast Features Past President Eric Schwindeman

The June Catholic Prayer Breakfast at Morningstar, organized by our Member Gerry Packnold, featured Men's Club Past President Eric Schwindeman, who highlighted his spiritual growth as a result of the platform the SJN Men's Club provides all its Members. The men he met, the friends he has made, and the ministries he was
introduced to - were all attributable to God working through the friendly "entry-level ministry"
known as the Men's Club! All part of the Club's motto: Faith, Fellowship, and Service.
