Due to the Covid-19 virus, I was afflicted in early July. I am proud to say that your prayers and well wishes helped me to get through the infection. Fortunately, my infection was mild. Please pray for others who have the virus, including Deacon Ralph who is fighting the illness at Baptist Hospital.
Because of the shutdown orders and to be safe, we have cancelled the August and September general meetings. It is unfortunate that we have missed the Chili Cookoff twice in the last 3 years. Once from Hurricane Mitch and this year due to the Covid virus.
Please stay safe and don’t forget to pay your dues.
Thanks, please pray for our priests, they’re praying for you.
SJN Men’s Club President

Our Last (Pre-Pandemic) Dinner Meeting on March 2nd
At our John Sullivan St Patrick’s Day Men’s Club Dinner Meeting tonight, our Archbishop Thomas Wenski brought a prayer of blessing and a timely message on the importance and challenges of passing on the Faith to those we love and those we meet around us. The membership enjoyed an evening of sharing fellowship with the Archbishop and each other, and even a fine cigar.

Faith ● Fellowship ● Service
Founded in 1981, the St. John Neumann Men’s Club is a Catholic men's group dedicated to promoting faith development, camaraderie, forming enduring friendships, and service to build a better Parish community at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Miami, FL. Our monthly dinner meetings provide an opportunity for men of our Parish to enrich our faith, build friendships, hear informative and uplifting speaker presentations, and take action through service to support the work of the Parish, its ministries, and the wider community-at-large.
Thanks to our annual Golf Tournament and the work of our members, we are able to raise funds in support of our charitable projects and to assist over 20 spiritual and community outreach ministries of the Parish, such as Family Matters, Men’s Emmaus, Our Lady of Florida Spiritual Retreats, Homeless Ministry, Youth Ministry, Marriage Covenant Ministry, Habitat for Humanity, and St. John Neumann Catholic School. Since 1996, our Christmas Teddy Bear Project has visited and delivered Christmas Teddy Bears to over 11,000 children hospitalized during the Christmas holidays at area hospitals, including Baptist, Miami Children’s, and Jackson. The Club distributes over 1500 orchids every Mother's Day to the mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers of the Parish.
